The Betting Options of Roulette

The game of roulette has two kinds of betting options - inside bets and outside bets. You can place bets in as many betting options as you want. There are no limits as to how many bets you will place in a single spin.

The following are the descriptions of the various betting options in roulette.

For the inside bets, the betting options are:

Straight Bet - Place your roulette chip in the center of your selected number between one to 36, zero, and double zero. Straight bet pays 35 to one.

Split Bet or Two Number Bet - Placing the roulette chip on the line situated between the two numbers of your choice that are lying next to each other. If one of the numbers is hit, you win 17 to one.

Street Bet or Three Number Bet - Place your roulette chips on the outside line of the row of the three numbers you want to bet. If one of the numbers comes out, you win 11 to one.

Corner Bet - You place your roulette chips in the center of the four selected numbers lying next to each other. If one of the numbers comes out, you win eight to one.

Five Bet - This is a betting option that can only be done with the numbers zero, double zero, one, two, and three. Place your roulette chips on the outside line separating zero and one. If one of the numbers come out, you win six to one.

Six Line Bet - Place your roulette chips on the outside line in between the two rows of the six numbers you choose. The winner receives six to one pay out.

For the outside bets the betting options are:

Any Red or Black Bet - Put your roulette chips on the color of your choice - red or black. The winner receives one to one pay out.

Any Number or High Number Bet - Place your roulette chips on the exact spot of your choice - one to 18 or 19 to 36. The winner receives one to one pay out. You lose when the number zero or double zero comes out.
